Isaac + Teresa Gonzalez Fall 2021 Wedding | JH Photography

Isaac + Teresa Gonzalez

Isaac and Teresa got married on Monday, September 13, 2021, at The View in South Jordan, Utah. They had a low-key wedding, with an intimate feeling to the ceremony with the personal stories their officiant told. I am absolutely honored they chose me to photograph their big day and am so excited to share some of my favorite moments with you!

Fall is Teresa’s favorite season and chose her wedding colors to complement the season! She chose wine, navy, and various pieces of greenery which matched the crisp day and season wonderfully! Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous wine gowns and Isaac’s groomsmen stood out in their navy suits and wine-colored ties.

Teresa met at work on Halloween a couple of years ago. Isaac was just starting and as part of the training process, they were doing a meet and greet with the agents they would be working alongside. As part of the meet and greet they were sharing the usual name and where their from, but in addition to that their trainer wanted them to share their celebrity crush. When it came to Isaac’s turn he shared that his celebrity crush is Daenerys Targaryen who Teresa happened to be dressed up as for Halloween! The whole sales floor of course had a riot with this and the sales director made the moment even more special by adding a loud “ooooh” to the laughter. Quite the introduction, right?

One of my favorite parts of their big day was their ceremony, they had so many special moments sprinkled throughout! To start off, Teresa’s dad is unfortunately incapacitated, so she had Mike, a father figure, walk her down the aisle. Seeing him walk her down the aisle was so special! To make the ceremony even more special, their officiant told several stories about their relationship painting the picture of who they are as a couple. In addition to all of this, they both thanked their parents and parental figures in their life. I may or may not have cried at this point! Overall, their ceremony was so special and uniquely them!

Their guestbook was so unique! They had traditional guestbooks next to their wedding favors, but right by the entrance to the ceremony and reception area they had a giant, clear heart with little wooden hearts scattered all around on the table for their guests to sign. I love how they’ll be able to display this in their home for years to come with memories of who was there on their big day!

To The Gonzalez Family, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to capture your big day! I had an absolute blast working with the two of you! I hope you’ll cherish these photos for years to come!

I hope you enjoyed seeing their big day as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. Check out their engagement session HERE and keep scrolling for more moments from their big day!
